Yep. Spray it on, and use the drying apparatus of your choice to complete the drying.

I've never had a problem with trying to spread the QD or anything. Just lightly mist (let's say for example PB's S&W) the QD on the panel and dry as usual. It's a good way to add some extra defence against marring during the drying phase.
This is the same process I use when drying. The water seems to bead up which makes the drying that much easier. Like JP stated, use a light mist and you want have a problem with the product needing to be spread evenly.
 
I have been using the absorber as well with no problems but I never dried a car with QD. I think I will try that. I always used a wax as you dry.

I used to use the california water blade but one time I went over my SS hood and cought an angle and it left a 3 inch burn in my clear so I only use it on the windows now
