Proper application of Werkstatt Jett and Carnuba Jett?

I use Prime Acylic on my car then use Acylic Jett Trigger to remove it....never had a problem and the car looks amazing

I never had a problem with AJ. A/Prime is easy to work with, AJT is a breeze and AJ always comes off easy for me. I use a slightly damp sponge and do one panel at a time. The sponge allows me to control the product better and help spread a thin uniform coat.

I absolutely agree with Scott's application method. I've done that on probably 30 cars now and it's a breeze every time. The key in both cases is to *leave no high spots*, if you can see a big white splotch where the prime or AJ is, it's going to be hard to remove; so as you apply it just run the PC over those spots to bring them down.

In both cases I would guess that I use less than half an ounce a car.

The only werkstatt product I ever found difficult to use was CJ, because it's thick and hard to spead. That said, uses a slightly damp mf and *very little* product it works fine too.

Scottwax you have all the solutions

The original AJ when sprayed on will spread easily but can be hard with unsatisfactory lighting to make sure that all the residue is gone.

Trigger by spray and wipe, sprayed onto the panel and wiped on with good amount of pressure and finished with other side of towel or 2nd towel is ultra easy and instantly makes smooth surfaces ultra slick

I now apply prime acrylic by rotary with edge white pad at 600 to 1100 rpm and I work it in until all product has dissappeared. If it dries up before I finish, then a quick spray of XMT pad conditioner onto pad and another pass fixes that

Tip - apply a four inch line of prime to surface then start buffing, on second panel apply four to six drops. If you use same amount as first panel, you will get splatter everywhere and it dries up fast and sticks.

Use it on the glass as well, machine buff the front windscreen and then spray on some jett.

My car's newly primed surfaces are ultra slick and I have never used a more amazing product

I will switch to PC once I have the voltage adaptor/transformer for it.

Buffing AJ or AJ trigger on with rotary or PC is sort of a waste as only once have I been able to have it break down and work itself into the paint.

Lately it has just been spread around by the machine regardless of speed of machine

Jeff said to me that there is no difference in durability of AJ when spraying it on or wiping on with pad

So I just spray it.

Picus-mix CJ 50/50 with OCW, thickness problem solved and you end up with an 'extra carnauba' version of OCW. :)

Ya, I've been doing that for awhile. I've used it on like 10 cars. Even spit-shined souveran with it. I was just saying that as stand alone products CJ's the only one that I've had any application issues with.
