Propel pad's backing came off

I put my brand new propel pads to use on a Camry today, I like them more than my Megs pads. However, my yellow pad's backing decided to come off after about an hour of use. I soaked it in soapy water whenever it became gummed up (learning DACP). Would this have any effect on it? Also, is there a way to fix it or should I just order another one next week (planning on ordering a few more pads and a couple Poorboys products from Excel). Hopefully this is some sort of defect in this pad, as all of the other pads performed stellar.

Instead of soaking them in water while you are still using them, try a foam conditioning brush or simply a terry cloth to remove any caked on product. The weight of the water in the pad may be too much for the backing material to hold on to.

Also, are you keeping the pad flat? tilting the pad can cause the edges to crinkle up and cause backing separation.

Not after an hour - shouldn't happen. it is just that pad - Happened to 3 of my green pads.

The glue is kinda weak. Look at home depot for an adheasive that is safe for foam, or return them.
