Professional Detailer Feedback

I am a new member here so I don't want to step on toes or offend anyone. Recently I did see someone with their site in their signature. I thought it was pretty cool because it gave me the opportunity to see a site I would never known existed. It would be great to see how and what others are doing around the world as it could be a learning experience for us. Entrepeneurs are students for life especially in this business.



-How about being able to place a link in our personal profile?

I really have little to add.



Two points:



As a rookie (4 years (?) ago) I truly learned a TREMENDOUS amount of information from this (and some other) forums. I'm now earning a substantial income, and I truly express my graditude to David Bynon, the Phillips, and so many board contributors who have helped me learn so much over the years. Thank You all!



Relative to this thread, I just do not expect (nor receive) much actual business... These enthusiasts are here because they love their cars...

Placement of commercial content in one's sig is not allowed per forum rules. If the mods see it, we remove it. Of course, repeat instances are rectified how they see fit.



Now if the site is completely commercial free, meaning no services or products discussed for sale directly or indirectly with any kind of contact info including e-mail, phone numbers, addresses,etc, then that is permissible. An example of a permissible site would be some linking to their online photo album in their sig.



The mods feel this is a pretty straightforward and reasonable policy.





Linking in personal profiles is alright but just like sigs and avatars, the mods monitor them for abuse also.
