Products you will need before you start your own detailing service.

When you get done with using DACP, and there are still some swirls left, you use a less aggressive product, like a SMR or glaze.

So then why would you use DACP then SMR if they are both abrasives then wouldn't using both of them be overkill?
Just like sandpaper on wood - where you start with a low number (course) and work your way up to high number (fine).

DACP followed by SMR to remove the marks left by the DACP - then followed by GEPC/S100 etc. to remover the marring left by the SMR.

ok thats what i was thinking I just wanted to be sure

If you are going to be charging people for a detail, then you'd better be real sure of this stuff before you start. Your best bet for a crash course is to download the e-book.

Using SMR after DACP is pretty much a waste of time.

If the DACP didnt remove the swirls, SMR certainly wont.

DACP doesnt seem to leave any marks behind (none that I can see anyways) that AIO and UPP cant handle.

One major item was left off the "Pro Detailers Kit List". A nice icy cooler full of beer. If I can't fit everything in the car, I will leave the toothpicks at home and bring the beer.
