Products that wish manufacturers would make

Some kool ideas guyz !

FWIW: I picked up a Werner work platform at Lowes or HD for about $35. Mainly using it for kitchen renovations. :o That Bauer piece looks really sturdy though.

I don't know if that's possible. The sling is more due to the centrifugal force from the rotation of the pad, and usually occurs the most when you try to pick up too much product at once.

Yeah I've got one of those aluminum stepladder/bench things too. It was $32 @ Menards I believe. Some of the best money I've ever spent on supplies, without a doubt.

Accumulator: Like these expect spraying upwards?

Yeah, that's it exactly, same brand and everything. I called them once for a replacement nozzle/jet and asked them about doing another production run of the underbody wand if I'd buy a bunch of them, they said no :( I was pretty disappointed to say the least, it's not like they'd have to do much changing around to make some more of them....

never having physically seen one....How hard would it be to change it yourself?

1. Dual Xenon Light (one more readily available)

2. A platform that will hold both your rinse and soap buckets together; and has wheels

3. MF towels that can be washed with regular detergent

4. Cheaper Paint Thickness guage(sp?)

5. A foam gun with brass fittings for 20 bucks.

Let's see if I can explain this....The thing I have is "T" shaped with maybe six nozzles/jets on a long bar at the top of the "T" and castors on the opposite side. The post of the "T" has a shutoff and hooks onto the hose. Covers a wide area with pretty good pressure. Low enough to get under even the S8 (but just barely on that one). It doesn't do wheelwells (what you pictured should be great for those), but it gets the bulk of the underside in just a few easy passes.

:idea Being that I am a plumber i could easily make one of these.(some copper tubbing and fittings, drill some holes in the pipe for the water jets.) It woud probably cost under $30. I'd have to work out attaching the wheels. I may consider that for myself. :up

I wish some enterprising chemist would produce a no-BS synthetic sealant with a realistic price tag (no, not Nu Finish, which has silicon, stinky petrochemicals and abrasives). As I said elsewhere, acrylic and liquid polymers, the basis of most sealants, are quite cheap to produce, and when I look at the price of some of the boutique products discussed I am gobsmacked! It must be a very lucrative business.

That's what i'm looking for! Thanks! What does that retail for?

Right now all they are selling is the whole kit.. a little over a hundred bucks.

I emailed and they said sometime soon the will sell just the bracket for those that already have dollies.

3 Dog- Modifying a water broom into the undercarriage wand would be just tricky enough that I'd fabricate something from scratch as per Intercooled, but I'd cannibalize a water broom for parts. If you have the skills it oughta be a great project and sorta fun too.

Intercooled: Here are some things to consider: length of the handle (the "post" of the "T") oughta be pretty long with an angled bend in it. The jets oughta be angled right (well, duh, but consider the *working* angle when you're holding it). and yeah, you're gonna need *jets*, not just holes because you need the forceful spray so I'd use something other than copper since you'll need to thread the holes. When I had one jet out (waiting for replacement) it killed the pressure to the other jets and didn't come out of the hole worth anything. All these things are why I'd buy a water broom and cannibalize it for parts, only fabricating the bar at the top of the "T" and only doing that if you couldn't figure out a way to turn it upside down (which again, I don't think will work out right).

The Xenon light is no longer @ lowes. I saw something close to it @ Target, but it wasn't the same. I guess I liked the fact that I was able to get it locally, and not have to order over the net.

In regards to the MF...I should have written that I wanted MF towels that I can throw into a wash with my terry towels, so I can do one big load, instead of two.

Foam Guns: I've seen the plastic ones, but i guess they are not the same as the ones with the brass fittings. I just wish the brass ones were cheaper is all.

The harbor freight link shows a thermometer. Do they carry a paint guage?
