Products for pearl white

A good friend of mine just bought a 2010 subaru WRX in pearl white. This is his foirst new car and I wanted to get him something that would really show off that paint. What waxes and glazes would you recommend for a car that is pearl white?
 
I have a pear white audi and honestly, i've used a couple different waxes and they mostly look the same. Havent tried out collinite #845 yet, but from what i read on this forum, its supposedly looks good on white.

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealar

4 Star Ultimate Paint Protection



Wax's:

Megs #16

Pinnacle Paste Glaz (no longer made and very hard to find)

Nattys white/blue

**I would also say Clearkote Carnuaba Moose Wax would look as well but I have not personally used it on white yet (looked great on dark blue)**
 
From my experience if you polish a white car properly, that is, make it look waxed without wax, then apply the sealant of your choice you should be happy. The problem with most products sold as, for white cars, is that they're too abrasive because white hides tiny scratches. Polish like it's black and you should be happy with just about anything.

For waxes, I'd only want to try 845 or #16 (the latter looked very nice on Audi pearl white). But I'd probably lean towards a sealant like FK1000P.

I asked about that a while back after seeing a local Cadillac with that look. Scottwax said it's a matter of some pearl whites just looking like that (due to the specific "pearlescent" ingredient") rather than the LSP imparting the yellowish cast.
 
Hi people.

Did any one tried CG petes 53 or 50/50 on white pearl and haw good was results,i just wondering is those products are good as they cost and if it may be compared to Glare or Colinite stuff.

Exactly .. I use Klasse SG as a base then 4* UPP on top of it for the TL pearl





#845 was ok on my Olds white but not on the TL pearl.
 
I currently own a 08' Starfire Pearl IS350. It has looked best with FMJ, Blackfire Wet Diamond and Menzerna Powerlock. I currently have Powerlock on it and it looks great.

AHA! Thats perfect! I was asking for my 2010 Starfire Pearl IS350! :spot
 
I'm with Wytstang on this one. When I had my Maxima, I loved what either WG Deep Gloss Sealant or UPP did, especially with Paste Glaz on top. He may be nuckin' futs, but he's right on.



Don't kid yourself though...the polish is what will bring out your pearls the most, not the LSP.

To be honest, I can't really tell the difference. They're both super slick too. Ease of application and removal are about the same also. I would say the only difference between the two right now is that Wet Diamond has a proven record of durability while Powerlock is too new to determine durability.



The one thing Powerlock has going for it right now is that it's on sale at every website that sells it. I guess they want everybody to try it! I already bought a quart. I'm a big fan of Menzerna. They've never let me down!
 
On light colored cars, specially white, I always go with a good paint sealant. That being said, my current sealant of choice has been Blackfire Wet Diamond(BFWD). I do want to try out Menzerna Power Lock though as it seems to be working well so far for people that have tried it, plus I love Menzerna's polishes! Can't go wrong with BFWD though, currently the best paint sealant out there IMO.
