Production detailing products

I am the Tarminator!
Just wondered if anyone here had any experience with their products. I recently got some, and for the price they seem to be excellent.

Before I used some no name distributor with no name products because thats all the dealership would let me get. Apparently we had some kind of contract in place before I got there. But now Ive been given some freedom and i decided to check these guys out. There is a distributor about 40 miles from where i work and they send a truck out to me. Its pretty convenient.

All I know about them now is that nobody proof reads their website before they publish it and they produce industrial quanity car care products. So does Four Star and a thousand other companies. I'd have to try their products to form any opinion about their quality. I'm not impressed with the website, that's for sure.

I also was introduced to this product line via a mobile distributor. I have used the Midnight Special Wax, Carnauba Wax, Synthetic Cutting Creme, Film Clearer Polish and their Reviver Polish. IMO it is an OK line of products, convienence does factor in a little bit I suppose, however I feel there is definitely better stuff available for doing retail jobs. (Detail City Sponsors) The best advice I can give is to find a product that You like, have good results with and use it. :)

See the problem with my shop is I have to have everything approved by higher ups. I work at a dealership and we are selling very few cars, so my already tight budget is getting even tighter. So far, for what they cost, I have no complaints.

I have used Production before. Good stuff. Compounds and polishes are as good as any you will find. Do not worry about them being " more economical ". Folks get caught up in buying $50 a gallon boutique stuff. If it gets the job done, forget the whole "for the price" view.

i am in the same boat at my dealership. i have control to a point, than i have to have authorization. i use ardex products and am very happy with them. when dealing with large volume like most dealerships, it is not very economical to buy the expensive stuff like magicman said. i find ardex does just as good as meguairs and is a fraction of the costs. if you like the results and the customer does also. that is all that matters.
