Product stuck on my car/ can`t get it off

I used some Meguiar`s swirl remover a few weeks ago on my Camaro. On the driver`s side underneath the door I remember it caught some water with my porter cable that was caught between the crack of the door. It slung the product/water mixture everywhere and made a big smear. I thought I wiped it away but noticed it again in the sun a week ago. I took it home and trying using some quick detail/MF, again thinking I got it off until i noticed it again this past week in the sun (it`s really low on my car so hard to see). I then tried to clay it, but that didn`t work either. i lightly used the back of my thumbnail and noticed that it was coming off, but needed to be scraped off and not wiped off.

so now i don`t know what to do...i don`t want to use my fingernail for this entire section. can i take the buffing pad with the same compound right back to it, will all that friction take it off?

tuffluck- That "like removes like" is often a good solution, or at least a good first-try. I`d expect it to work (if it does) primarily through chemical, rather than mechanical, means but hey, as long as it works.

IF that doesn`t work, I`d try the alkaline step of a decontamination process (namely ValuGard`s "A"), but I realize not everyone has that on the shelf.
