Product spotlight, is it a good deal?

I am looking to buy a Flex 3401 and start detailing exteriors-



I can't find it less than 280 give or take a few $



but in today's product spotlight they have kits for $369 for an "intermediate" paint correction set at autogeek -please see the list



FLEX XC3401 XMT Intermediate Swirl Remover Kit, flex orbital polisher, random orbit polisher, buffer kit, swirl remover kit, car polish kit



1. Since I need to buy accessories anyway would this save me some money ?

It would only save me money if the products are good and useful...all of them.



or should I buy everything separately? If that is the case can someone list the minimal products needed for intermediate paint correction.



I am looking for an equation like : $280 Flex + pad(s) xyz + product(s) = $346

--and therefore cheaper than the special at autogeek.

i would buy the Flex seperately and then pick and choose what other products i would need. why keep or pay extra for stuff you don't need or would use?
 
I agree with BigAl. IMO those kits may technically save you money, but they usually contain items which you may never use or aren't the quality of what you might buy otherwise.



One tip: Classic Motoring Accessories seems to be one of the few places that when they offer a coupon code, they allow it to be used for polishers. That will save you some...you should sign up for their mailing list.



PS When I went to the CMA site, I see they are now carrying 3M Ultrafina!
 
Thanks- I'm usually against any kits because unless ALL products are useful, you're not saving anything. I found a Flex with a coupon code for about $259, free shipping and no tax.
