Product needed after 1ZPP, before AIO?

The only paint polish I have is 1ZPP. I use it once every couple of months to rejuvinate the paint, as AIO will not remove swirls or etching.



My question is: Would I benefit from an intermediate product to use after the 1ZPP but before the application of AIO, or would such a product be redundant?



A paintwork cleansing lotion, or milder polish, perhaps? What are your thoughts? Thanks.
 
1ZMP is the next polish down on the aggressiveness scale from PP. I have the 1Z trio and love them (UPP, PP, MP). I usually find that PP covers most problems and most of the time, I can go straight to AIO if I used a *finish* polishing pad, and if I don't feel comfortable with the finish it leaves, I pull out the MP, done deal. It would definitely not be redundant by any means. It would almost be like using DACP and going straight to AIO. Sometimes you can and sometimes you can't.
