Product line difference

Just a quick question.

I noticed that Meguiars has two product lines for the professional. The "detailer" line and the "mirror glaze" line. Which one is better?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin, these lines from Meguiar's work hand in hand. One can't ask for more, you can use M105 & M205 and be set from polishing then use APC to clean some tires. These both lines are a detailers dream to use and never let down.

Hi Kevin,

Meguiar's has a lot of lines that appeal to consumers (Ultimate/NXT/Gold Glass/Classic (maroon bottle) and general Meguair's label..., to professional detailers (Detailer's Line) and to body shop professionals (Mirror Glaze).

The Mirror Glaze line of products is aimed more at the body shop professional, with many of the products being silicone free (you can use them in body shop settings without fear of contaminating fresh paint). Many of the mirror glaze products include products for paint refinishing and paint correction including a full line of polishes and sand papers.

The Detailer's Line is aimed more towards the professional detailer. The products include a full range that covers everything from interior care, to various tire dressings, as well as the Meguiar's DA Microfiber System.

Many detailers also polish and correct paint, so you will find them using products from both lines.

Also, don't forget about Meguiar's excellent retail line of products which use many of the innovations pioneered in their professional lines for excellent performance. Much like Ferrari uses technology designed for F1 cars on their road cars, Meguiar's has done an excellent job of incorporating their professional technology in their consumer products.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I used to detail out of a small shop in MD and we used nothing but Malco products. I've used meguiars before outside of work but never these two lines. I have heard that the #62 car soap/shampoo is better than the detailer's shampoo. Is correct to say?

Thanks,
Kevin
