Product for clear coated wheels?

I have a motorcycle with polished aluminum wheels, but they are clear coated. so when i use something like detailer on them it leaves streaks because the slightest streak that you might not even see on a car's painted surface is refected from the polished metal under the clear coat. It also leaves them sorta dull. Both these things disappear to a good degree if i rub hard enough. But the work it taks is too much. So i'm not really asking about a particular brand, but just a type of product that will clean them w/o leaving streaks or dullness. Something that will clean the dirt off and leave then as shiny as they're capable of and leave no streaks with little to no rubbing.

Your having problems with cleaning and streaks because your wheels are not sealed. Seal with Duragloss 105 and maintain with Aqua Wax every other wash. You can find Duragloss in most Auto Supply Stores.

I wasn't sure if you meant they weren't sealed as in sealer like you use under a wax, or sealed as in clear paint if some sort. I thought there was a clear paint coat because there IS clear paint on the insides of the "spokes". (as in the 5 alloy "spokes") But i guess what they do is cut the wheel out from a solid disc, then paint it then turn it on a lathe. Don't know if thats clear (no pun intended) but thats the best i can describe to show why i thought they had clear coat on them. But it's only on the insides of the spokes and the rest is raw alloy. So i tried some metal polish but i could tell that would take hours because it will shine it so much i'd have to do a full on metal polish to the whole wheel which would be a major job. So i just used wax and rubbed hard enough to remove the surface dirt and to act like a very fine polish to take off a bit of the top layer and leave it looking clear, clean and even with a coat of wax to preserve it till nest time. Thanks....i didn't use your method but your post made me question whether i was wrong about the wheel being clear coated.
