Hey guys, Ive searched around and i'm looking for a product combinatio that will really bring out the best shine and gloss on my sliver mustang with metal flake.

Here is the scenario

1. the car will be in malibu, CA for most of the time (by the beach)

weather/ durability shouldn't be too big a deal, however sun and salt air will

2. outside parking

3. basically new paint, very minor marring

4. product must go on by hand (cant afford a pc)

So here is what im looking for

1. deep shine & gloss

2. average wetness

3. medium durability

4. hand application

any suggestions are deeply appreciated

from a silver car guy to silver car guy, don't know if you are like me but I never quiet got the pop that I got so used to with my old black car. But things are looking up!

this is my latest:

Aqua Wax($7) topped with FK 425($15).

The AW made the silver look deeper almost like if you were looking into a marble

and the swirly things were the metallic flakes in my Arctic Silver.

The FK 425 maintained the wet look repelling dust instead of attracting it like most waxes.

Aqua Wax

FK1 425

For the beach I would recommend something durable like a Zaino Z-2 Pro sealant. It looks very wet and really brings out the flake.

If you're going to be out Malibu way (pepperdine?) I would say to swing by the Chemical Guys place (near LAX) and pick up a bottle of M-Seal - very reasonably priced (16oz)

The Duragloss is over the counter at Napa stores. Definitely worth the trip.

Best spray wax on silver I've used so far. But you really need 425 to go over it

if you'll be in a windy area. 425 repels not attracts, dust.

425 is great on your windows and interior as well.

I'd be willing to say that with these two spray products you would not be able to tell it apart from

another silver car with hours of waxes/polishes/sprays from Zaino, Poorboys, Klasse, Menzerna, etc.

I like fast results that don't require me to buy a whole line up.
