Problems with Stoner Invisible Glass

As it it doesn't seem to work well for me.

I do not get this Stoner thing

I do not think it does anything.

I spray it thick and thin and let it pool

I have sprayed it twice and let it drool.

I have wiped it once and twice and more

I have wiped it quick before it hits the door

Cotton, newsprint, my dog (he howled!)

I've tried most everything ('OK, 'cept MF towel...)

Just when I think I'm done

I pull my car out into the sun

And there, as I stand in shock and tears,

Are all kinds of grimy, smeary smears.

They laugh at me, they sneer, they mock

I have even swiped them with my sock

"Use MF towels, fool!" you say

If so, then Stoner's not earning its pay.

So, if you see me on the road

Take care to pass me very slow

Especailly if the sun is setting

'Cause I'll be blinded, I'll be betting.

I just recently started using Stoner Invisible Glass after learning about it here on this forum. I have had excellent results with it. I use it with Scott Rags in a Box (from my local hardware store) and always do the final wipe/buff with a clean Scott Rag. These are really more accurately described as a heavy duty paper towel than a rag.

Before you start shedding oceans of tears

Over those disgusting streaks and smears

Let me try to allay your fears

See, I once shed tears much like you

Seeing those streaks on my glass turned my world blue

I tried different solutions, but something was amiss

I tried quite a few things that could be found on a grocery list

But one day while perusing the site and all

I decided to try some rubbing alcohol

I bought 2 bottles of the stuff for a dollar

but when I mixed it with my 20/20, the results made me holler

All right, but my poetry is not the best, but I used the 75/25 alcohol-20/20 mix with newspaper first. After that, I would use the Stoners (sprayed thin, not heavy) with a MT and I did not have any problems with streaking. :D

I just looked at your signature and saw the Eagle 20/20. I must need glasses. Or the ones I have are fogged up. OR...maybe they're just streaky!

Stoner's gave me streak problems on interior glass and I don't use it anymore. I found Sprayway to work much better.

The Stoner's works fine on the exterior glass though.

...but we're the loonies with the clean cars. :D

I use newspaper, you gotta make sure you thoroughly buff the crap outta the glass you are cleaning. So, spary the IG on your glass, lightly agitate it to remove the dirt, and finnally buff out with a dry piece of newspaper.
