Problems with M105

Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate any and all advice. I'm not dissatisfied with HT pads just curious what I did wrong or could do to help my process. My one cyan pad is shot so maybe after the next one goes I'll give surbuf a shot. I don't mind heavy clear, it's comforting to me actually and thank God it's there to practice on lol. Oh and to be clear 2 passes to me means working the polish clear thru then reapplying more and making another pass or hit. Don't want anyone to think I only make 2 swipes over a panel with the DA and move on, ha :P. SO once again thank you all, and any more tips feel free to lmk :-) I have/had great mentor Gusbubba help me out big time too, so thanks to him as well :-)

Hmmm...*one* Cyan pad? With M105, I need a *LOT* of pads to do a whole vehicle. Once the pad gets loaded/damp from washing/whatever, it doesn't work as well for me as a fresh one.

I work one panel at a time. I've only done back third of my car and that was after several different sessions. I do agree with you though that I do need more pads regardless when I do (God-willing) finally get to more progress. Thanks again for yours, and others help.

P.s. Is the KBM standard enough to learn, love, and live or should I stick to my own variant pressure method that I'm comfortable with and it's showing results, but make more passes and be more patient? Basically, is it worth relearning/revamping my current polishing approach?
