Problems with HD Uno

the stuff does some impressive correction work...but it is the hardest thing I have ever used to buff off.

I thought it was supposed to be easy to buff off????

What am I doing wrong? I tried less polish a couple times, but it still had the same issue.

I am pretty disappointed because, like I said, the corrective work is awesome but horrible to buff off.

ANY SUGGESTIONS???

I noticed the same thing when I first started using HD Uno. When it's hard to remove, a bit of QD will make a world of difference.

I've found that if I prime my pad better I dont' have an issue... maybe it's drying out?

When buffing off any product that flashes onto the paint or sticks to in any other way just put a dab of the same product on an MF or Applicator and it will come right off.

wouldn't it be that since it's hard to remove . . . . . that the product was over worked?

I know that if you over buff with like M105 sometimes it flashes over and gets hard and stuck like that.

Try the QD thing or try working the product in a little less in terms of time.

I would say it was overworked. I used HD Uno for the first time not too long ago, and had no problems removing it. I'm no expert though, so take this with a grain of salt!

Good Morning,

What type of polisher is being used to apply the uno.

I still have the same issue as well. Very hard to get UNO off.

I don't think that I am overworking it either. (pcxp).

I immedietly go over it with zaio or Poli Seal but I wish I didn't have to.

me too, I spread the product, do one slow vertical pass and the one slow horizontal pass, and done, its hell to take off, but what I noticed is if you wax over it, then buff off, its gone, but then I cant check my progress... One thing I could think of is trying to do on last low speed-1 or 2 at light pressure and see how that works out to buff off.

I'm not sure if this UNO version (the current formula) is harder to buff than the earlier ones. I have seen some vids from sept. and it looks like a piece of cake to buff off.

Is your last pass with a lot of pressure or light pressure? For my last pass or two i didn't bare down as hard, so maybe that has something to do with it?:nixweiss

well i havent tried this yet, but I woul think that by making your last pass very light it would loosen or release the polish that flashed to the paint. Its just a theory, so ill see if it will work :)

But seeing that you did low pressure for the last pass I have high hopes fr next time

I am using the pcxp to apply uno. Worked with it again today and was able to buff off easy...but major micromarring. I guess I will get the hang of it someday

can you tell us how to make it buff off easy?

Have you tried to use very little product? Honestly we have seen that people try to use like traditional polishes a lot!

3 dabs is all you need...
