Problems with glass and paint! (many large pics)

My car (2002 WRX Wagon) is about a month old.



I've noticed that the water spots on the glass do not go away with washing, Stoner's, or claying.



Also, I just FCRC'd my hood (factory installed swirls) and now I can see this odd surface shape... like a million tiny pits.

Well, not too many WRX pics and several blurry ones that didn't show much......



But I'm betting your problem is acid rain etching. That's prolly what you see on the hood and glass.



Ya might want to do a board search on acid rain to see what others have said & done.



Don't feel bad; my car's got the same problem.
 
The one thread I found on acid rain didn't allow any more posts.



What I think I have here is etched glass rain spots from the dealer.
