Its not so much that I didnt get any free stuff (although we all love free stuff), but more that two methods of communication were ignored that bothers me. A simple "sorry, but we're out of free stuff" call, email or PM would have sufficed.
I wouldn't have brought this up if it were a one-time thing, but I have had problems with both customer service and shipping timing with them before. I made attempts to solve this quietly, but eventually I felt like doing something to inform other Autopians about the problem. White95Max, for example, has had the same problems.
In the end, it comes down to accountability. I'm not making up things to "trash" autogeek with. I'm just putting out what has happened to me, and my dissatisfaction with it. I dont consider it any different than rating a product that I've been unhappy with.
I understand that Autogeek has done well by some of you, but thats not a reason to turn this into a cult.
