Problem customer says he's "dissatisfied"

Ah, gotta love DFW trendwhores :har:

Maybe I need to move, it could definitely be the area and for a city the size of Chattanooga, there are alot of nice freakin cars here, but they aren't putting out the dough. I think the only people making right now are those doing the dealers. I even talked to friends who detail boats and they are slow as well.

Not enough trendwhores here.

AutoNova-just curious, what do you do when you aren't detailing cars? First 3 years I was detailing full time, I was putting out flyers when I didn't have any cars that day. Just a thought...:)

I've kinda re-thought my stance on the whole "putting out flyers" thing. I've had many, many fliers left on my truck while I was at work/class (college campus). I even had one from a smallfries detailer (basically no different than most of us part-timers). That one in particular, I called him back to say that (a) I am his competition, and he should've known by looking at my truck that I don't need his services... and (b) that he was never to lay a finger on my vehicle ever again -- considering he left a couple spots of marring on my fender deep enough for me to break out the PC... and all because he had to lean against it to slide the flier under my windshield wiper.

I probably should've charged the guy MY shop rate to fix the marring. :hm

Well, granted. I would never actually say those EXACT words to the guy, but that was the general meaning that was gotten across. ;) I just didn't feel like typing 20 'tactful' words, when the idea could be gotten across in 6. :xyxthumbs
