Prior cleaner before Vintage

Yes I kind of felt that way too in the beginning. I was very satisfied with Concours and I thought what could possibly top that!?! Like I was tellling you a while back, there were other reasons that drove me to Vintage.

It was a gamble that paid off in the end!

Oh boy:nervous2:

I'm not worried. The only thing that wonders me is how much longer can the Accumulator hold out ?? (Just having fun.........not picking on you pal..........besides I know you're having a blast watching this!!)!

It has been about 4 weeks. No problem getting the refill. They did not ask any questions. I over apply and that is a understatement. Once I put a thick coat down and let it sit for 12 hours. With that much nuba is was dang hard to remove. I am not abusing the refill factor promise. I have some shoulder problems so I usally apply by UDM. The wax is very soft to start with. So I take some and put it in a different container. Put in microwave a few seconds, and heat it up. I apply a thin coat then mist with cool water and dry it off. I leave the rest of the V on the car and come back about 4 hours latter and reapply another thin coat over the first. Cool mist, dry, and remove all. Works for me. Now tell me how crazy I am. I'm addicted I know. But don't care. The coats that are on my car now have been treated with heavy QD's and I want to take it all off and have just a Vintage finish, no QD's, Opt-seal or anything else. WOOOOOOOOOOOOH !!!!!

so they gave no problem with you asking for a refill within a few weeks? Even if you did relative cars and your own that is alot of wax I mean the thinner the better in regards to wax

Did they ask any questions on why or how u used so much? I mean I would be sceptical you were selling or giving it away. did they ask u if you charged your family members for the use of the wax?

sorry for so many question but wow if u can refill that often, I am buying a tub and making a killing SELLING it.

hand application has a steep learning curve...

You mean a *shallow* learning curve (time, being potentially infinite, is always the "X" axis). So steep = more learning over less time ;) Sounds counter-intuitive huh? Sorry to be so pedantic :o For some reason this common misconception is something I always feel compelled to correct.

lbls1- Heh heh, about the time I start thinking "gee, I wish I had the Jag back...", *then* I'll start seriously considering this stuff :D Gotta find time to get that M3 finished and sold so the Jag can come home, then I'll start bugging my mechanic to wrap it up.

OH, got another Q- I should put this on a different Zymol thread, but...

Is it OK to use Vintage/etc. on black trim? I use Souveran on black plastic, and even on the *rubber* trim of the Jag and I want to keep on doing that.

you are correct, It was a late night, i actully had a pro (econmics ofcourese) who spent two whole classes (so 4 hours) goning on a rant about that.. ohh how i loved hat class

calgarydetail- Heh heh, well, remember that I *did* teach computer programming at the local U ;) So I can symptahize with your Econ prof.

hmmm for some reason it got deleted..oh well. lol you can me can know whast going on...

I think its cause im at shool, the network keeps cutting in and out.. i may have clicked somthing :D
