pricing of PC vs. UDM

I plan on purchasing a detailing machine pretty soon. I know you can now get the PC for around 110 shipped or so, but most of the cheaper ones do not come with backing plates correct? So 110 + another 20, OR a UDM for 150? Isn't it better just to get the greatest and latest for another 20 bux?

Order it from danase.com and use the 10% off autopia code. Brings it down to $134.96.

And don't forget to order pads and some products to use and get the discount with the UDM also.:up

Search all the detailing forums for UDM complaints. They were some mistakes made in manufacturing that are being worked out now. It's simply growing pains for a brand new product but the "corrected" ones are not available yet. It appears that it's going to be a very good machine once the few bugs are worked out.

even better. Order it from autopia-carcare.com and use the code "SAVEBIG" to save 15% (only good through sunday night)

$149.99 - 15% = $127.49 with free shipping.

With the fixes, I will get them as a free upgrade correct? And as of right now it's just the switch that has issues? I know they are looking to extend the power cord and such, but that's not neccessary for me.

also, can someone specify what pads I should get and anything else I'll need? I'm going to be working with PB SSR2.5.
