Hey guys....got another question....What do you guys normally charge for a truck this size.





I did this truck today for 100.00 but I'm just getting back into the swing of things for not doin this for 2 yrs. but I dont want to charge to much....or undercharge at the same time.







and i'm not useing garbage products either...I use P21s wheel cleaner/P21 wax soemetimes...sonus motor kote and trim...chemical guys products...poorboys products like polishes...and i waxed this truck today with Wolfgang fusion.
 
It depends on how much you did on that truck. $100 for a full paint correction is WAY undercharging. But $100 for a wash, clay, wax is about right I think.
 
washed, clayed.....never been clayed before so that was fun ( sarcasim ) broke the makita out and did LC white pad with Poorboys white diamond...then waxed with Fusion obviously dressed the tires...shined the exhaust tips and dressed the trim as well.....and were you guys refering to 100 for just doing the paint cause I did the inside also
 
It all depends on how well you can control your ADD (Acute Detailing Disorder). I have the problem that I feel that if I can see the defects, then they can too and will not be happy with the job and/or not be a return customer. Most recently I charged $100 on a full-sized Chevrolet Silverado/Extended cab = wash, clay, Megs UC + 21 2.0 and the interior (it was a friend's truck) and let me tell you, that was a long day!



If I could get myself to realize that not everyone has a detailer's eye or concern for their finish, then perhaps I could let myself do less so I don't end up undercharging and working myself to death.

BTW, I'm starting to make myself charge $100 for an exterior only (more if the car is black or very dark colored) and starting at $50 for an interior =vacuum, wipedown, dress.
 
I won't even look at a car for $100 let alone a truck. My detail/paint corrections start at 350 and go up from there. And I think I am very cheap. I also usually spend at least 8 hours on a car.

I shoula also probably mention I have an excellent reputatiion and have been doing this for years which definitely helps justifying the price.
 
Charge what you think your worth, and never, never, never undercharge. I learned this the hard away. I have since learned the difference between business and pleasing a customer for a lower price.
 
alright because the place I go to get my products from is looking for someone to represent their company because a lot of people come in asking for detailers....and the owner of the store won't let anyone represent the store because MOST detailers ( atleast around me ) charge top dollar and use low end products.....but he knows what products I use and how long it takes me and the quality of my work and last time I was in he asked if I would represent them on the detailing end....so that was a compliment in itself....but thanks for the input guys...I"ll deffinaltey need to look into a priceing chart
