i bought some of this today ( 64 oz. ) for 3.00. Had run out of the Eagle1 soap so i thought i would try this.

It suds more than the EO, by a lot, and the suds seem to stick to the car more than the EO. it also seems milder to use. i washed 1/2 the hood with each product and the EO didnt allow the water to bead, whereas the Prestone did.

so what does that mean? i would assume that is is gentler and less likley to strip off the already applied wax.

Smelled like Coconuts!!!!!!!!!

I think I have a 16 oz. bottle of Prestone Bullet Wash. Its purple right? I paid $.99 for 16 oz.

Its a decent wash, I prefer Gold Class or Z7 for Zaino.

I got a free sample when I bought some Prestone fuel injector cleaner. I'll have to give it a try and add to this thread. I have a couple customers who want me to use their water dionizer and regular car wash soap instead of QEW and I normally use the Kit Carnuba which suds up very nicely and cleans effectively, while leaving nice water beads behind. I'll see how the Prestone product compares when I do their cars next.

Wow, interesting things come from experimentation! I'm surprised you use Kit Carnuba wash! How did you feel it compared to Gold Class? I'm nearing the end of my wash solution, and am wondering what to get...

I would have gotten gold class...until now. What's the word? Well, obviously, it is your choice. LOL

The Kit wax stays real sudsy. The guy who wants me to use his water deionizer and regular car wash soap says he likes to see lots of suds and the Kit wash fills the bill. Durashine's car wash soap is really sudsy too, but costs more and isn't as widely available.

Back on topic-I tried the Prestone car wash soap today. It foamed up real nice in the bucket, but very little of the suds made it to the paint. More like foam than suds. It did clean effectively and the paint beaded up nicely. Smells nice too.

I think I will stick with the Kit soap since it leaves massive suds on the paint until I rinse and that is what the customer wants.
