Well, since my client went on a car shopping spree, he sold this one last week:
It was a 2002 Lexus SC 430 Neiman Marcos Special Edition #51 out of 100. He liked that one better than the new one he bought:
A 2010 Lexus IS 350C. It does not that same horsepower or red leather interior, he he he......, and overall size of the convertible. Since he has had this Lexus before Christman, he really never drove it since he like the SC 430. Well, he has no choice now. Since it rained for over a week down here, I know I needed to do a quick detail to keep it looking new.
Now, I have a question about this. What do YOU USE to clean everything around the letters? I did not have a problem with this vehicle since it has less than 2k miles on it.
Is it just Toyota/Lexus that the exhaust tips get that bad so quickly??
Well, this detail was just to clean-up the new Lexus. It's about to turn 2k miles this week. Since the Optimum Opti-Seal is new on the market, I wanted to give it a try and to protect the IS 350Cs new paint. My client is very impressed and wants me to do the same thing to his wifes New 2010 Lexus LS. Her past car was this one:
After I took the Lexus back to his office this afternoon, I pointed out some problems with the new Lexus, such are the exhaust tips and the interior. He advised me to correct everything and make it look new again. I will be doing the interior work tomorrow and the exhaust tips.
Since the Lexus had under 2k miles on it, all I needed to do was wash, clay, MaxWax it and seal it. The exterior looks like new once again!!
Well, here are before pictures I took of the interior the other day. It did not take too long to clean up the interior this morning.
Interior Trim:
Metro Vac N’ Blo Portable Vacuum
Meguiar’s APC+
303 Aerospace Protectant
Optimum Leather Protectant
Aztec Hot Rod Hot Water Extractor
303 Fabric Guard Water Repelant
Well, since my client wants to make sure his car stays in good shape to a few years, he wanted everything taken care of now for protection down the road. Well, the only interior protection, for the carpet/matts, that I had was the 303 Fabric Water Repelant. I Figured, why not. I also used the Optimum on all the leather interior the Lexus has. Client is very pleased.
Enjoy the pics
This Cadillac is what he would like me to do next, if his wife does get a hold of me 1st. :rofl :bigups
I go to visit SA/Boerne once in a while. When I can't stand being down here, I will go hang out at my families ranch, up in the hills, in Boerne. I have to go to Seguin and New Braunsfels mid May.
