Pressure washers?

You wouldn't think so, would ya. ;) Check this out... http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-detailing/104946-oh-brother-here-he-goes-again-lot-s-pics.html I've been working on a touchless wash method for quite some time.

As for the camspray foamer, I have to swap out my tip to use the cannon, then swap the regular tip back on it. Kind of a pain, but it doesn't take too long to do.

I still think there's road grime there! It may not look like it (hell the CL-S didn't either) until I got my mitt(pun!) on it.

Your black 'sticker' didn't fare well and showed it. The blue paint is just more forgiving as far as hiding things.

:furious:

LoL, nope, there's not. :D It is *completely* clean. Did you notice the finger swipe test in the before pictures? What you can't see is the finger swipe test in the after pictures, cause there wasn't anything to show the swipe! :) The only thing on the car that still has anything on it is the black vinyl decals. They didn't have any wax on them, and they still require a wash media to get clean.

Now granted I don't get those kind of results *every* time. As the wax gets older (and more worn off), I do end up leaving some stuff behind. When that happens, I use a BHB to get the stuff off, then apply another layer of wax.

It had no wax on it. The wax is 99.9% of the reason why the touchless works so well. And honestly, if there were *anything* left on the paint, I really would tell you. There's nothing to gain by pulling your leg on this. Yes, the black vinyl stickers still had stuff on them. That's explained in the thread. No wax=no clean. And no, there really was *nothing, nada, zilch, empty set* left on the paint. It's not hiding, it's just not there. Really. Honest. No kidding. I'm not lyiing.

We're going to have to agree to disagree then. I have Zaino on my car, but if I did a touchless wash I'm pretty certain I could come home and QD the car and pull up road grime. (This could be dependent on how far between washes you go). I'm not talking about standing dirt you can visibly see. I'm talking about the film of ick you get on your car just from daily driving. It's not always readily apparent.

Zaino not coming clean with a touchless wash is one of the reasons why I stopped using it. That and the fact that it was providing about zero environmental protection, especially against water spots.

Fluxy, I have no hidden agenda. If this didn't work exactly as I have stated, I would say so. I have been trying many different LSP's to get this touchless wash to work. And Zaino was the very worst of all of them. Anyone here that owns Vintage will back me up on this. It is the very best wax for easily realeasing what's on it during a wash. The fact that you're calling my honesty into question really sucks, man.

Supe,

I know you have no hidden agenda. I just am respectfully disagreeing. That doesn't mean you aren't a great detailer it just means we have a different thought process on how a detail should go. It's perfectly ok by me. I didn't say you were dishonest.

I'm not trying to make you out as a shill or anything. Relax, it's just an opinion, right?

There are many factors that go into why certain products work well for some and not others.

It is my opinion and experience that zaino does protect very well against water spots and fallout. Some may choose to offer "facts" here, while I offer just my opinion.
