Pressure washer + Soap?

LastDetail

Whose yer DADDY!??!?!?!?!
Hey everybody, I just bought myself a new electric pressure washer. Specifically I got the Husky 1800 PSI from Home Depot http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS/EN_US/diy_main/pg_diy.jsp?CNTTYPE=PROD_META&CNTKEY=misc%2fsearchResults.jsp&BV_SessionID=@@@@1074994684.1151372892@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccdcaddiegefdjfcgelceffdfgidgim.0&MID=9876 If you want to see it.
Anyway it has the dual tank action in the back for mixing in chemicals to be sprayed out with the water at lower pressure. However in the instructions it said to use only approved pressure washer products. My question is can I use some carwash soap and make a little sudsy action to assist in washing? Or do you think the soap is too thick and might clog the inner doings of the washer?
Anyone tried this and had any problems?
Thanks.

I don't see why not. The HSDS comes with a foam bottle just
for this reason. Alotta guys have used a Husky so they can help.

I might upgrade my HSDS to the one in the pic.

Most pressure washers use a venturi effect to suck the soap in down stream of the pump and inner workings so it wont screwup the pump. If the soap is fairly thick just dilute it with some warm water to allow it to be sucked by the venturi.
