Pressure Washer Question

Hello Everyone,



Im currently in the market of purchasing a pressure washer to clean cars at home. Nothing professional but aim looking for something of good quality. Im also looking at purchasing autogeeks foam gun and canon. Was wondering if I need both and the advantages of them in comparison to each other.

I was planning on getting the briggs because it says that they are more durable and wont tip over and also you can adjust the concentration with it.



The briggs and karcher have an axial cam vs wobble that the Cambell has.





My ultimate goal is to wash a vehicle professionally at home without using buckets. It seems with the hp cannon it defeats the purpose of briggs adjustable concentration ability too.



Any suggestions?? Need help I dont want to ruin my new 2010 Mercedes E350 4-matic. (paladuim silver)
 
How much louder are the electric pressure washers vs a gas.



I have a gas now that is great, but I'm afraid of pissing off my neighbors every time I want to wash my cars.
 
I found the electric Brigg's for $200 at tractor supply. I have ben doing some searches and supposedly electric is junk??



I found this one which is cheap also.

It is 2050 psi and 1.9 GPM. It says in description that its used for cars/patios etc.



Then when I go on lowes.com they dont recommend something taht high. 1300psi is what is recommended for cars.



So can anyone help me out on what to do? Im not that familair with thsese and I do not want to ruin the paint or break things on the car.

if you don't want that much pressure on a car-just step back. It's like a shot gun, the further back you are, the less damage the spray can do.
 
It also depends on the tip you have in the gun. Use the right tip and you will be fine. Use the wrong tip and may have to visit a paint shop. But get a gas pressure washer. The electric one will fail on you sooner and be more expensive to repair.
