Im sure your thinking what can you do to a brand new 2009 WHITE Mercedes with only 5k miles on it?? Well, believe it or not, there is still a big difference to be made! As well as needed a good clay bar session to remove the fallout, the owner confessed to running the car through an automatic car wash twice and he paid the consequence. With only two washes, there were some very deep scratches as well as some surface swirls. The owner wanted these removed so that he could have a perfect swirl free car before applying a new clear-bra to the car.

The car how it arrived, while it looked clean, it still needed some cleaning. ;)

In the sun, you can clearly see the defects, although it was hard to capture with the camera, let alone look at in the blaring sun!

For the final wash, I looked up and realized I had a helper so I took a couple shots of him in action as well. :) He was pretty tame, letting me get within a foot from him before he even moved.

And since we live in FL, it can be bright and sunny one moment, and then this can happen with no warning. Unfortunately, the customer had to drive it home in the pouring rain. :mad:

That is probably one of the worst things I hate about detailing. Spending so much time making a car look perfect only to see it get rained on or worse watch a bunch of little rug rats jump in it afterwards.:D

At least with your own car you can make attempts at protecting the hard work but once a customer gets it then who knows.

I would be careful. That looks like a love bird and he sure was giving you the look. :love:

I am very:yay to see someone finally remove tha License Plate.:bigups

It has :rain: here for 11 days straight:( So I know that sickening feeling of deleivering a car in tha :rain:

It's hard to believe anyone would run a nice car like that through a tunnel wash.On the other hand most who buy that kind of ride have to work to pay the note.Washing is fast and easy.The other type buy it and have somebody else do the washing, if in fact it gets a wash...I know up here many Lease the high end stuff and if it gets dull after 3 years they start all over with a new one.Wax is not a regular part of maintenance for them...

Tha car still looks tremendous.I've seen your work,there is certainally know questioning your abilitys:bigups
