Sean,

Great write up. I think your G35 is one of the best looking out there. One thing I would like to know is why you chose the G over (i think you mentioned it in an earlier thread) a car such as a BMW E46 ZHP (performance package). I drove the G, and while its straight line accel. was amazing, the overall feel didn't seem to rival that of the BMW.

Your car still looks sweet though! :spot

Great write up Sean! I was pushing for him to get the ZHP too! We are just gonna have to duke it out at LIMEROCK G35 vs ZHP :woot2:

Good review!

I have had my G35 sedan since 2002 (as the early 2003 model). Car has performed beautifully, and never given me a hint of problem. Yes, there are little bothers like slight door rattles (but sheesh, any car is gonna rattle a little after 4 years). I love the styling of my "original" 2003 (added a factory spoiler and tint, as the only mods). The quietness of the interior is also quite nice. The car is almost library quiet at speed, it is so well insolated. The performance of the car is quite amazing! Cornering and acceleration are very inspiring. Sometimes you just have to roll with the window down just to hear it rev through the gears and belt that nice exhaust tone.

I have a G-meter installed, and it says my best 0-60 run was 5.8 secs (probably overly optimistic on that run). My top 10 best are low to mid 6s. The Gs are really quite nice in that they can be relaxed boulevard cruisers when you want them to, or aggressive sportsters when called upon. All this for thousands less than a similarly equipped Bimmer, and it was a no brainer when I signed the papers!

Sadly, I'll probably be looking for a SUV replacement sometime in the distant future, as a change in martial status dictates a need for more [hauling] space.

lp: I find myself in the same spot! The bassy exhaust note leaves a lot to be accelerated. I love hanging at 2500 then stomping on it until 4500.

DK: I want to hook something up for the spring. Once these tires are blown through, I want to get some *real* performance rubbers.

Mike: Please tell me you are getting an FX :D!
