Preferred method to clean MF pads

Keep them clean as you polish with a quick brushing and then blow them out with compressed air. When done for the day, I spray a little bit of APC on them and rinse them in warm water. Spin them out and leave out to dry. After this quick cleaning sometimes I throw them in the wash with other MFs.

This is my preferred method as well. ;)

Yep, while working with my pads, I use compressed air to clean after every session(section).

Thanks everyone for the replies.

ON THE GO: Compressed air is my favourite. pad on the machine, turn the rotary on to speed 3 to 6 and hit with the air

if on the orbital, I hit the pad on the edge and it makes the pad spin ultra fast then I go up and down the pad and its clean

After the panel is done, I take it outside to the wash bay and hit it with 3000 psi cold water. a few turns of the pad in my hands and the pads are clean.

MACHINE: since I use a water based single polish, they go straight in my 7kg washer with the water on warm and that's it

If your using water based product, you dont need any detergents/cleaners, if using solvent you may need to though

This is great for wools and foams too, heck any type of pad except the velvet and denim pads it will work
