Power clay instead of by hand?

noooo! This topic has been discussed before as griot's makes a similar product, it seems the general consensus is that the product will cause worse problems than those it would correct.

As always, patience makes perfect- doing it by hand, slower, will in the end give you better results.

Aragaahahahahahahahahh!!! That thing scares me. I think for Halloween this year I'm going to change my Avatar to one of those just to freak people out. lol Some things are just better done by hand. You wouldn't wet sand with a machine, would you? Claying is the same way. To be safe with it then you need to do it by hand. I can't imagine that using a machine would be safe at all. How would you fold the clay? It would take forever to do it that way. Not to mention that if you didn't fold the clay every 20 seconds then you could do some serious damage to your car if the clay got dirty. That is just scary....

Sorry, Jngr, but there's no such thing as a "fashion king"; kings are notoriously unfashionable. With your sense of style and panache ... well ... if the shoe fits ..... :D

P.S. You do know I'm just playin' with ya, right????

Very well... Meet my new avatar then.

Stick with claying by hand like everyone says. Its not that hard and you have a lot of control over your performance. Plus it really doesnt take that long. I did an entire Ford Escape today in 25 minutes. Cake!

I did my Silverado extended cab with hard tonneau cover in about 35 min yesterday. I'd not want to use a machine for that job.....too dangerous. Claying is so easy, gliding the stuff across the surface, why use a machine?
