So that's why his Username was so hard to pronounce! :huh:

As we discussed via PM last week (assuming there's only 1 "Admin"), these were things I use on other vBulletin-powered Forums that I wasn't aware of on TID until I sniffed around a little more closely. Perhaps someone else can benefit.

OK, so just who is "Admin"? Is it a secret? Parents gave you a funny name so you don't use it? Is your computer hidden behind a curtain where Dorothy and Toto can't see you? As usual, I have more questions than answers......

Yep, that's why. They use a bot to auto-generate usernames. You should see some of the ones that I catch before they can get to the forum. You'd think these guys were Klingons.
And, yes, there is only one Admin. I am the Admin...koo koo ka choo!

Mostly the ones I described to bot-boy. I was wondering why I wasn't seeing icons for threads I'd participated in like other Forums and discovered I needed to reset my Options. I do believe you described these goodies as "bells and whistles". ancing Dot:

:::::shrug:::: Doesn't matter to me. Most Forums I'm on have Usernames with tags for Mods and Admin and folks sign their posts. After the coup when I become King and Grand Poobah it'll be a requirement to use one's name on any post or e-mail address. :StarWars: That'll be right after I'm finished with the executions.

Just convenient to know that if I dash off a post to "Admin" it's always going to the same person in case I have to report Luster for overposting or something. :biggrin:
