Posting pics of customer cars

Other than posting pics of your own car, do you all ask the customer who's car you detailed permission to post pics on the net? If so how do you approach them about it?

I just get them all hyped about how great there car or motorcycles looks. "Do you mind if I take some pictures?" "I want to brag about your car." I just try to get them positive about how great there car looks. Try to make them feel like they have a new car. There always, "Oh Yeah, Go ahead!" They appreciate it. It's a complement.

My "customers" are people I know. Normally from referals.

Yes I always ask customers if they mind me posting pictures of their cars on the internet. I tell them that I will block their license plates out if they want. I've never had a customer say that they preferred to not have me post pics.

My customers ask me when their cars will be on my site so they can show them off to their friends. Most people don't take good picture of their cars so they use the pics I take.

They feel kind of honored to know their car is up "in the lights". I have never had a "No".

:up :up Cool responses, and reasons. I always try and get pictures after a detail for my detailing portfolio that I show new customers. I was just curious, you know how one can be about the internet.

I always ask if they mind if I take some pics and post them on the web. As others have experienced, I have also never had a "no".
