We picked up these items last week. The McKee`s tire "kit" and some AMMO coating.

I put a new set of Michelin`s on my car recently and have yet to apply any dressing. The tires were showing that brown discoloration. What an opportunity to try out McKee`s tire cleaner and the coating! Well, the tire cleaner left something to be desired. I ended up having to grab another product to remove the browning. I let things dry and applied the tire coating and it performed at the opposite end of the spectrum. I really like it! - the easiest dressing I`ve ever used. It`s very thin, it covers the entire sidewall with little effort and dries to a nice finished appearance. I started with just a single coat, some folks will want a second. (It has a very natural finish to it with just one coat.)

The AMMO coating also turned out to be a good surprise. It looked tremendous on my son`s silver VW (below). In fact, it`s the best result I`ve seen on a silver car and we`ve had a number of them. The coating was similar to all other coatings I`ve used. No surprises. The bottle was 15mL and he only used about half of it. He applied, I did the final wipe down about 2 minutes later. We were really surprised how great it looked the next day.

The McKee`s kit comes with three of those large, block applicators.

This all came in a package today from Mike Phillips at Autogeek... at no cost. He just wanted to be nice and send some things out. Because this is a normal thing companies do, right?!?

Thank you Mike and all of AG!

USP delivered a big box = Flex XKE "Finisher" and a small box = Scangrip light. Two week road trip visiting friends and relatives next week so the usual suspects will be waiting for me to try it out on their cars. Of course I tried it out on a trunk lid..... Very nice, no vibration and I could not make it stall..... no, I did not try to sit on it!

My wife mentioned something about polishing at lunch. I mentioned the UPS guy is delivering a polisher today. Of course her next question.... "I thought you had enough of those"? I said "this one`s cordless"!!! "Oh" was the response.

Oh, that "too many polishers" comment from the wife. She helped me get a new cordless last week, even though I have plenty of corded models. I`ve been able to justify the double digit number I have so far :)

cordless polisher makes for a safer work environment as there aint tripping over cords and thats enough for my wife. also the amount of time wrapping cords as a full timer justified for me. just casually getting them. got my rotary the other day via open box deal
