the Pinnacle LGRW is pretty awesome as well. It's my go-to rinseless wash/wax and it leaves a very nice finish. This is my third gallon now. I use the QD dilution as a drying aid and sometimes even a claybar lube. I also like to give it away as a spray bottle to my better clients who will actually use it when needed.

How do you feel LGRW compares to ONR in the 3 uses listed above? Nice idea giving pre-mixed bottles away to clients :bigups

IMO, 1 oz to 2gal works better than onr as rw. Lgrw doesn't seem to dirty the wash media as much as onr. I will use gmwm with onr but normally 2 bucket and two or three mf mitts.
As qd, honestly I don't think there's even a comparison, imo Lgrw blows onr as qd away. It cleans just as well but leaves a touch of that nice pinnacle nuba shine and as a clay lube I usually don't do it but have once or twice when I was going to finish the vehicle with liquid souveran. Drying aid, yes. Use it a lot and like the added nuba glow it gives. But I also use liquid souveran spray wax a lot as well. Love that pinnacle shine.

Its like Christmas on my front door. 5l mean green, bf tt&ts from contest , 1000 business cards (rocking synergy beads from my truck on the card) and nanoskin fine grade sponge not pictured.

Now, to detail tonite or not, that is the question.

And i just happen to have a black venza all swirled up sitting in my garage just decontaminated, clayed and dried.
I was thinking over lunch, sure could use that bf src bottle on this suv.

Excited to give it a shot.

I think this suv is just as bad as my neighbors. Both black so I'm gonna take advantage of having this bottle.

Src compound is awesome! I have to run out of my bottles of the old stuff to try the new formula. Let us know how you like it!

Not detail related I know, but I do plan on pbl coating it. And so excited its finally here. They even sprayed it black for me..

Pretty much restocking some stuff I use pretty often. Hopefully ACC will start carrying M101 in a gallon soon, I love this stuff. I still wish Sonus would sell Motor and Trim Kote in a gallon. :(

Even got a mystery gift, Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire gel, as a surprise! Was super excited to see it when I got everything out. It smells amazing and can't wait to give it a try!

Well, my first order of MF towels arrived this morning …(through another vendor).

For some reason I forgot to include the two 36pack of Kirkland MF towels I bought at Costco. oh well…

Hopefully my Autopia order will be here sometime this weekend…looking forward to my 1st attempt at a rinseless. :)

Make sure you remove any labels (if there) before use
Hopefully if they are there, they wont be sewn on

you can never have enough micro

Hey there Ron…yea, first thing I did was removed the tags.

Some were sewn in, so i carefully removed those with scissors making sure not to get too close to the stitching….. tedious job for sure if one has a lot of towels. lol

I then inspected each before washing to make sure the quality was ok.

They are now in my HE front loader with a pack of ALL free & clear along with a little BlackFire MF cleaner and distilled white vinegar.

I was sure to wash the black MF towels separate in case they bled….wasn't sure and didn't want to take the chance.

Next, I'll be drying on air dry only until dry enough to take out, fold, and put away into my new plastic bins.

Life is good!

vinegar for final rinse cycle or by it self. w detergent it sorta defeats the purpose

I hate to rain on your parade, but if labels were sewn on, don't use em on paint

i'd also be worried about what the whole micro was sewn with then (ie probably nylon thread [think fishing line])

The only MF towels that actually had the tags were the black ones and the multicolored ones that are in the plastic bin on bottom right hand corner.

These MF towels will ONLY be used for wheels (black) and all the multi colored ones will be used on door jams and misc… all the nice ones such as gold plush jrs and such will be used on paint only.

Oh, and also the 16x16 Window WW MF towels also had sewn in tags …these will only be used for glass of course.

The kirklands will also be used for misc throwaways ….

For drying I purchased an electric B&D leaf blower that I use exclusively for drying my vehicle only and a nice WW MF.

I would like to think I learned a lot from you guys in the short amount of time i've been lurking here and over at the sister site :)

what are your guys' suggestions on separating towels when washing them?

I know tire towels should def be washed separate from glass towels of course …thats just common sense.

but what about compound and polish towels? Interior trim? Exterior trim? Leather?
