Post Your Unboxing Pictures!

Enjoy those Gyeon products. Syncro has proven to be really nice 2 months in thus far on my dad`s car. The polish and leather shield are also nice products. Curious to hear your thoughts on Gliss. I`m 50/50 on it. Still need to use my bottle of booster.

They came this afternoon and I have used them on a test vehicle. I am doing the horizontal panels on a black 2012 Optima with 154.5k on the odometer. Since I coated it last spring it has been washed 2 times and does sit out 24/7 so makes a good one to test new products on. It has the CSL/EXO combo on it from then that is about 11 months old. I really don`t like Booster since I only did a small areas and it left no evidence that it was applied after the 1st swipe of the applicator. If I remember correctly Gliss is a little like that too.

Ok on the car the drivers side has CSL as a base along with the rear deck lid. Starting from the front Gliss is the 1st section the second is the 2xEXO. The 1st section of the roof is topped with Skin and the 2nd is Booster. On the passenger side it has MOHSx2 and the 1st section is topped with Booster and the 2nd is Skin. On the roof it is reversed 1st is Skin and 2nd is Booster.

On the trunk lid it has CSL as a base and starting from the drivers side it has EXOx2 then EXO and Gliss both and next Skin on CSL which had cured for 5 days before application and the last is Booster.

Picked up some stuff to try out on my wife’s car. I don’t want to recoat it (it’s a black 2015 Expedition EL) but I noticed some very light swirling in some spots so I’m hoping the essence plus will take care of it. And does everyone cut the reload 1:1?

(will be doing a review on these awesome lights.)

Thanks Mary - now I know what brand Griots is selling for their 2100 lumen light with tripod. Looks like they charge a competitive price - not the lowest or highest.

Why is this my favorite thread? Am I being materialistic ogling your purchases? I`m like OHHHHHH, CarPro gloss pads! Then I feel silly.

Just hadda find out how the Rupes and BOSS differ. Have my Rupes LHR15 Mk2, now just rec`d the BOSS G21 (along with 5 microfiber pads) from Autopia, the second box from Autogeek with 3 complete sets of pads, 5" backing plate, Griots bag (which was supposed to arrive today as well) somehow got delayed.

G21 arrived today, gave it a quick try w some BOSS microfiber pads, with both Fast Correcting Cream, then M101. Slapped on some B&S Uro Fiber pads, used with both Correcting Cream and new Jescar Medium Polish. It did *really* well with the BOSS Microfibers and D300. All were with 6" backing plate and corresponding pads.

While not apples to apples (21mm v 15mm) it`s become obvious that each has pluses and minuses compared to the other, mostly very minor things. Regardless, anybody who dismisses the BOSS machines without having tried em, or disparages them as cheap Chinese knockoffs should probably rethink that narrow-minded view. The BOSS is certainly a solid piece of kit, worthy of consideration.

Still love my Rupes 15, Mini and Duetto for sure but I think the G21 will supplant my Flex 3401 in appropriate situations.

Kinda stupid for me to have all these machines given the fact that I`m just some hack tripping over cords at the most amateurish of levels but curiosity got the best of me...again. And Ron had nothing to do with this one...although he is responsible for Moonlight. And Overcoat. And PA High Gloss...and probably a few others. Good batting average, he has.
