What is really amazing out these shots is how bad some people let their cars get before they seek help. I really, really don't get that.

Decided to show my "super unholy oxidation" set. This car belongs to my little sister, it was the first car that she ever bought, so she got it for a steal because of the paint finish. I helped her out with it...

I can't even tell you how many passes and wool pads this took.

M105, Megs #83 and Ultrafina were used on the car. I don't remember if I fully finished with Ultrafina for these pictures, so pardon what appears to be holograms in the sun picture. They were all removed later after the car was fully polished...

Enjoy...

Really frustrating when I was first starting out and a lot of car still had single stage paint. I had a few customers, who, despite my best efforts, would wait until their paint was like chalk again before they'd call. It was almost as if they didn't feel they got their money's worth unless I busted my a$$ and there was a huge difference in appearnce. :wall

klasse, nice work, but did you get those remaining holograms out after you finished the detail?

There weren't holograms but deeper RIDS left over. The customer only wanted a one-step, but I did two passes on the hood, roof, and trunk.
