I have always used Clearkote products for all steps on my black cobra. Want to see what others use to get black to be the wettest, deepest pool of black you can get. Thanks for replying!!

I've posted this pic before but I still look at it even though I don't own the car anymore

Automagic color restorer

AIO

Klasse SG 6X's

P21S 6X's

Lots of SOnus Carnauba Sprtiz

wish I had tried:

AIO

Poorboys EX with Carnuauba

S100 or P21s (same)

FX 100 (to seal the the carnauba, can't do that with SG)

final coat of the Finish Kare #425 (so slick dust blows right off)

p.s. this '94 car was NEVER garage kept

Thanks Mike...Trying to get other ideas on black and compare them to how CK looks.

I use:

PB2.5 (If Required)

VM

RMG

Souveran

Crystal Mist

I have the following and I'm going to give this combo a try:

Menzerna IP

Menzerna FP II

85RD

RMG (maybe)

Natty Blue

FK 425

I think RMG adds depth to Souveran and curious if it would add anything to Natty Blue. I always do RMG by hand.

:xyxthumbs

I've been really impressed by Scottwax's pics of Werkstatt products on black. Maybe not the deepest, but holy cow is it impressive.

Man..you could go swimming on the Miata!!!!

I'm going through the what to try this Spring mode myself..

I'm thinking...

AIO

SG x2 or 3

Megs #26 or FK Pink Wax

FK#425

Black Combo No.1

Opt Compound/hyper/polish if needed

z6 wipe down

zaino z2 pro

Black combo No.2

Opt compound/hyper/polish

Pink Moose (combo of VM and RMG)

EX-P or UPP, or Meg's 21 x 2

Natty's Blue x 2

both turn out super , super wet.. its just matters the customers preference..

for my own vehicle, i go the zaino route :D

Personally, I like:

SSR 2.5 and/or 1 as needed

Meg's #9

Meg's #81 (if I need fillers)

Then, depending on my mood I will do PB's EX or Meg's 16. I really want to try Natty's Blue this summer something though. Probably am going to try some FK 425 also, just sounds awesome.

awesome everyone...Thanks for the suggestions. Seems like alot of you like the Natty Blue wax on black paint. Might have to try that.

Mike - how does this result compare with the clearkote products? Deeper, wetter? More protection?

I flip flop between Souveran and CMW as my LSP...Tend to go toward CMW because I like the less reflective, darkening look and it also last longer then Souveran

CMW:

wow great looking yukon; thanks for the pics as well. I prefer the wet, deeper look as well. How does Natty's blue compare to CMW?

I am thinking about using this combo... Please comment with your thoughts.

Menzerna IP - I have some water spots that I want to get rid of

Menzerna FPII

RMG - any issues with using this with Menzerna?

Sealant - Here I am not sure as I have never used one before. Thought on using a sealant with P21S

P21S

QD - Quikshine

Thanks for helping me out; just wanting to try a different combo than I have used for the last 2yrs.

Mike, has it right, IMO.

Menzerna IP

Menzerna FP

AIO/Souveran or Z2 Pro/Z8

Mike does have it right. I agree with him and Zane. Nothing beats Souveran on black for wetness. Z-2 and Z-5 look terrific on black...here's Z-5:
