Premium Quality 16" x 16" Microfiber Polishing Towel

Ultra Absorbent towel holds up to 7 times it weight. Super Soft Ultra fine fibers are softer than silk. Superior quality allows for many washes and reuses. 70/30 split fabric is 100 times finer than human hair containing 90,000 microfibers per square inch. I have talked to Rick with ADS and he said the MF Towels have over 90k fibers/inch that those were the old specs for there older towels and have since changed them and they are much better now. I bought 2 cases a while back of there green and gold. Their green towel reminds me of a lime slice, or mint green.....

well... with the holidays upon us, i'm sure alot of our detail supplies are continuing to grow. so with that said, here's a *bump*... :D

easily one of the best threads started. amazing collection by a lot of guys. some newbies, to those that are getting into it hardcore, to the semi-pro's, to the pro's. great collections by all.

interesting to see what some people really like vs some of the things everyone seems to have

Thought I'd get this one back up for 2009. I'm certainly not a professional and this stuff is all for my personal vehicles. I was just turned onto this site (and the REAL world of detailing this year) so I haven't had much time to get a stock pile of GOOD stuff.

Guys, seriously, I never knew there were others like me out there! For eleven years I thought I was the only one... Now I know I'm not alone!

All of these collections are beautiful, and as soon as I can find the pics, I'll post my good Zymol stuff, and hopefully soon, I can take pics of everything else.

It's a disease, there oughta be a 12-steps group!

Although everybody's collecting a lot of tools and supplies according to their needs and tastes, everybody's got one exact same situation..... storage. Seeing all the shelving brought back fond memories (NOT!) of reaching for one thing and knocking over 3 others.

Best acquisition I've made so far is a cabinet. I had crap all over the place in drawers and shelves, on the floor... everywhere. What a pain in the (choose your body part) Found these cabinets on sale at Sears. Big, heavy, pain in the neck to unpack and get situated, not to mention the expense. But it's made an incredibly positive difference. Organization is good! I highly recommend biting the bullet and getting an adequate cabinet. Worked so well for me I ended up picking up another.

Craftsman Professional Floor Cabinet-Locker, Garage Storage - Model 59125 at Sears.com

They run 'em on sale for 50 bucks off frequently.

As Billy Mays sez, "but wait, there's more!" Tip of the day..... little velcro tabs on the sides and underside of shelves allows you to stick your pads to 'em and save shelf space.

Hehe, yeah I guess. I get a pretty good deal on it at my friends shop (The Streetrod Store ). I like their products for the most part but have found better options for some of the stuff I have. I still use the White Satin protectant for under the hood duty and wheel well duty and I use the quick detail for clay lube and spot cleaning. The leather products are awesome though, I love them.

Trying to tackle the OCD bug that has bitten me. My tools that I have accumulated to date. Wash buckets are elsewhere in their made (by me) dolly's.
