Possible to WASH your car too much?

Right now, I wash it once or even twice a week. And I don't even drive my car everyday. I have another beater car to drive in the rain and a nicer car. Can you wash your car too much?
 
With good technique (foam gun, two buckets, good mitts, easy on bearing down on the mitt or the WW to dry it), I gotta believe that frequent washing is not a problem. You might shorten the life of your LSP somewhat, but since many of us like to "freshen up" the LSP periodically, that shouldn't be an issue, either.



Heck, I just like to wash my car. I find it relaxing. Maybe I wouldn't if I had three or four to do.
 
When I used a Porsche C4 for commuting in nasty winter weather I washed it *every day*.



Huge waste on my time in retrospect, but it didn't hurt the car any.
