YEAH! Show him up.. LOL i love proving people wrong haha...

Those both are 7336 models...I am about to order the 7424 from AutoGeek. Will the methods and motions still remain the same as in the vids? Or are the two models so different that there are other techniques to learn? I understand that the 7424 is better for newbs and has an addition motion to it. What is the motion pattern of the 7424?

There is no difference whatsoever between the 7335 (mine is a 7335, but actually it's the re-labeled Meguiar's G100A), 7336SP, and 7424. All three are pretty much identical machines with regard to technique and the orbital movement pattern. As stated above, the only notable difference is the counterweight -- and for the record I've used both a 5" and 6" counterweight on PCs with otherwise identical backing plate and pad setups, and the difference was nominal at best to me.

I've been detailing for years and man just those two videos and your detailed descriptions have cleared so many things up for me.

I thank you so much for putting this site up. This is probably the most useful thing I have found on this forum.

I think I'm gonna try to do a rotary video later this week, too. I've got a NASTY project car in that will make for a beautiful "test subject" for before/after shots... :D

This thread is great. I am going to get a PC very shortly and have been worried about how to use one properly. The vids and advice in this thread are great. I also know two ppl that have offered to show me how to use a PC as well,.....so that will help too haha.
