The trade-in program is not going to gegin until July. I have to get the initial reseller orders completed first. My best guess on having this ready is July 16.

Thanks David!:goodjob

So if you get a UDM and don't like it as much as your PC, but you have sent your PC in, what happens?

Well, if you sent in your PC then you get an automatic credit of $50 to your paypal or credit card. Then if you don't like the UDM you can return it with the enclosed shipping label and you will be refunded your $99.99 plus tax and shipping and then you can buy another PC if you so choose and you will not have lost a single dime.

Does the PC have to be in working condition? I have two and one doesn't work. I was going to have it fixed (most likely the cord) and then bolt on one of my Cyclo carpet brushes and use it for cleaning mats. If I can trade it up and get $50 off, that might be a better deal for me.

Is there any update on the availability of this programme or when it will be introduced?

I am looking to upgrade to a UDM very soon and have a PC awaiting trade-in :D

Cheers

Hey David...I understand that this donation program is taking second stage to getting the UDM in perfect order during its infant release. But could you give a time estimate of when you expect this program to go live? I'm sure a lot of us are anxiously waiting to utilize the program, I know I am. As one who's not much into equipment hoarding, this is an ideal situation for me...I won't be increasing my equipment count and I'll be helping ARC :)

Thanks for your time and effort - Jason

Hey Jason,

Thank you for your patience, we are still working on the trade in program but don't have a specific date as of yet. Should be some time this fall and we will keep you all posted.
