I go to quite a few car forums and I noticed that many have posts of terrific car videos. So I think this forum deserves a list of car video links that members and nonmembers can frequent. I'll start...

THe stuff looks great. I'm going to be sticking some video clips shot at Willow Springs with me driving a Sunbeam Tiger during a Shelby race [its a right-hand drive Tiger]and a few more with me driving an AC Cobra racing with Ferraris and Porsches. I need to do some changes, from D8 or DV to MPEG, etc, to the stuff so that they won't take up to much bandwidth. I normally do everything I produce to DV tape, not to much to the web or internet yet, but am picking up a DVD cutter so I can produce my productions to DVD, also.

Whats up guys? Today my old school 7242 quit working today. That thing was a trooper. Lasted over 5 years and was used alot. I need to get another da polisher.

Ive heard good things about the Griots unit. Anyone worked with the upgraded 7242? I dont want to get a flex.

Any advice on pneumatic polichers? I have access to air and that would be pretty sweet.

What would you recommend? :-?
 
I myself have the Griot's machine.... and it is a nice unit. But then again, I have most of them so...

But yea, I do like the Griot's machine.
 
Isn't the Shurhold S-3100 that is sold here by PAC the same unit as the Griots?

If it is, then the pricing here on Sale might be a great deal ? I don't know what PAC's warranty would be on the machine but I bet you can find out.

I don't have the Griot's but I have all the others including the Flex 3401VRG with the cut down backing plate,,

Guys what do you think ?

Cool cool cool thanks for all the responses and input guys! I feel good about going with the Griots unit.

What do you guys think about using the Griots unit with 3 inch pads?
