I've used both. Tell you this much ergonomics on the UDM is better with the handle. You'll enjoy the extra oomph you get compared to the PC. Vibration is much reduced. It'd sturdier and heavier in a sense, but in return you get more power and stability.
If you have to choose between the two I'd honestly go with UDM hands down.
That alone should be enough to convince most people to get it. Because of the extra power, it does not bog down as much when you put pressure on it, therefore you can do more correction with the UDM than you can with a PC. I tried a PC a couple of weeks before getting my UDM and you can definitely see the difference. The PC bogs down way too much in comparison. So if someone has paint that is hard to correct with a PC, but still is not comfortable stepping up to a rotary, the UDM might just be the ticket for them. I love mine!
