Porter Cable 7424 Dual-Action Polisher...

If Im using a swirl remover I run my PC on 6 right off the start when Im using a polish I run it on 3 no higher than that this is just the way I do it some other people my do it different. you will love your PC it changes everything. :yay

Appreciate the respones, ive talked to quite a few experienced detailers and they are all saying 5/6 for compound and polish and when just light polishing use like 3-4 and wax and sealant I believe used like 1-2!

This information is great guys! Thanks a lot, I have finally decided to start my detailing business. After years of just thinking of it as a hobby and years in college wondering what I wanted "to be", I have decided to make this my career because it has always been my passion. I think I will go get my PC real soon.

Does anyone know the best way to get some customers? Do people get real annoyed with fliers or random business cards? Any input is more than greatly appreciated!

I would just make a website and advertise for detailing and stuff....something will work.

Hey thanks for the feedback. I think I have the stational part covered, but what about mobile? Does anyone know what I need to get mobile other than a truck?? I mean I know I need a truck, but I don't know what all I need to get and what the expenses look like!

Ryan,
You will get more responses to your specific questions if you post a new thread in the professional auto detailers section of the forum.
