Yeah, drove home from the dealer in Ohio on a Thursday and had the exhaust changed on Monday LOL.

A RUF 997TT????!!!! Are you sure LOL I'm in Smithtown BTW.

:)

From another fellow 997C2S owner..... NICE UPGRADE!!!:up

I see you too went with the PCCB's!! Nice aren't they?:D

I know your pain as to the AWD... Look at it this way, you can always get the GT2.:grinno:

Just last week, someone went by me in a white 997 GT3-RS. Man that was a sick car.

Now, I hope you got a K-40 in it! Also, paint film as I'm sure you found the paint soft too.

Enjoy the new toy and hope to see you at one Porsche event!

Regards,

Deanski

Hey Deanski, I'm E55AMG over on REnnlist. yeah, the PCCB's are nice - not sure if they're a necessity but a "what the hell" kind of option for me. The RS is a bit much for me I think on these streets! Also not sure how many people are actually good enough to extract (especially on the streets) what any of these cars can do. A lot of magazine racing goes on which kind of cracks me up sometimes.

As far as the GT2... What are they saying - 200K for that car? nah, for that kind of coin think i'd get an F430.

I had a mirror etched V1 and lidatek laser jammer in my C2S which I switched over to the TT. Works great.

Clear bra was done by Matt at detailing dynamics a few weeks ago.

Detailing Dynamics do some, if not the best work when it comes to paint films! You did the right thing!!

As for the GT2, I agree, a bit much. Friend of mine who has an F430 is going to the 997TT or wait for an allocation for the GT2. Reason, maintenance costs on the F430 was just too much. Sure, it looks and goes like mad, but not as reliable as a Porsche.

Glad you moved over the V1. You're gonna need it!!:grinno:

Well, at least the PCCB's you don't have to worry about brake dust! Besides, they are lighter, stop like as if you threw out an anchor! Just be careful not to crack one!!

I see you also have the sport steering wheel. Love that wheel! I also did the sport adaptive seats. Also, one of the first to add Sirius to the PCM via the Cayenne kit. Danbury Porsche has that down quickly. I see many cars being shipped to the dealer just for the Sirius or XM.

Hope to see you on the road! Maybe at Lime Rock? This weekend is ALMS and Porscheplatz.

Regards,

Deanski

wow that is sick! i noticed the darker areas of the pictures seem to come out really dark, any reason? i thought canons were really good color wise

WOW that is impressive! Sport Chrono +PCCB <---Best option ever, most likely worth the steep price tag though :)

Congrats on owning my dream car!

The RUF turbo's are out - but there are only a few of them. Cost around 350K or so depending on what package you get. Would just be surprised to see one cruising around here though LOL.

I work for Siemens (medical solutions division)
