Porsche 996 Turbo - Dream come true

Hi There



My last detail was to me a dream came true, detailing a Porsche 911 Turbo (996) from 2001

and after it driving it "freely" :grinno:

Well my day started real early because i live near Lisboa and the detail were in Porto , 350 kms from my house.. , after a 2 hour drive i started detailing my dream car.



The 996 was medium swirled but heavy holograms were present, a dealership bonus after one maintenance :furious:

The rear looked like this

The hood also with swirls and holograms, it has to be a PRO to make something like this :wall

Rims and engine

The interior was clean but needed some work on the plastics and leather.

My setup :



- Washed and clayed

- LC Orange pad with IP and PC x 2

- LC Black pad with PO85RD

_ Pwc Blue

- Nattys blue



During the polishing as you can see, 2 passes of orange pad with IP , cleaned almost 100% the swirls and 100% the holograms, i just love

The rims tooked 1z PP for manual polishing, and PB WS for sealant.

The car is owned by a Professional Race driver, and as you can see the 996 gets the full treatment from the owner ( last trackday at Estoril Race



Track )

The interior was conditioned with PB Natural look, metalic parts polished with 1z PP and waxed with OCW.

Engine



Cleaned with 1Z Intensive plastic cleaner, APC, and 1z Gummi for the rubber and 1z Balsam for plastics.



I finished the work later and was dark

Nice work, the before and after of the rear really shows what you were able to accomplish. Even in the night shots, the paint looks very wet.

Must've been really butchered for swirls and holograms to show so obviously on silver metallic.
