Porsche 911 GT3 (Black)

You put polish directly to the pad and not on the paint? How do you like that technique, more splatter? Also once you have turned the machine on you spread the product around like on the PC at a very low rpm and then crank it up? Just curious, awesome job on the best Carrera ever made!

I use both methods...

Put the product direct on the pad, put the pad on the car and then turn on at 600rpm - wiggle the machine around for a second to charge up the pad with the product, then spread over an area at 600rpm. Then up to polishing speed and away I go.

Or, put lines of product on the paintwork, and pick the product up at 600rpm with the rotary at a very slight tilt, then spread around at 600rpm and away I go.

The former technique I will use on smaller panels, the latter on large wide panels like bonner and roof so I can do the whole panel without switching off the machine.

Splendid work indeed, gentlemen! You should consider submitting the bonnet shots of the car to product manufacturers for use in advertising. Phenomenal depth and sheen! Hats off!
