Spray & Gloss will probably be available within the next two weeks, along with the new Wheel Sealant:)

They are two totally different types of products:

Qd+ is still a carnauba product with pd's & cleaning abilities, the basic product will not really be changing that much, other than having lower and different pd's to make it VOC compliant. This product should be used after Spray and Wipe or a car wash to get its maximum benefit.

S&G ...is a gloss enhancer with no pd's, alchohol, or wax made to add slickness and shine while doing minimal cleaning. This product should be used on slightly dirty, or dusty finishes, or after Spray and Wipe and can also be sprayed on while a car is wet from washing to reduce friction and add gloss while drying.

I personally believe the cleaning and shining processes should be seperate processes. Using a gloss enhancer while a vehicle is dirty can only lead to dirt being moved around and then being part of the new shiny surface. There are no products smart enough to remove dirt and leave a perfectly clean surface with protection without trapping dirt with it.

We went with a very high clear gloss, that is extremely slick and with minimal cleaning ability...ie dust, water spots, light brake dust...

The final color was picked to be unmistakingly different..and that will be a surprise as well as the scent;)

tried it today on few different surfaces with a dilution of 1:16 (one part APC to 16 parts water)


then tried it on some cloth upholstery(red)...worked well removing the dirt and stains, but it left it a bit soapy, making me think that further dilution will be needed for the next trial 1:31 will be my next shot

tomorrow I dilute it further and see what else I can do with it ...if there is time I'll try it in the Bronco's engine compartment, since that is really filthy.

actually it got too cold here too fast and my testing outside came to a screaching halt. Coastal Eddie on the other hand has used over 60 gallons in various circumstances and dilutions so maybe we can get him to chime in:)

Inside the house i have used it on upholstered chairs with marker and crayon on it, spills, markers, and vomit on the carpet , on the walls , in the kitchen on everything including the floor. I takes off glue and stickers from windows, and all these instances were diluted at 15:1....
 
Hey Steve, I noticed the sample of EX-P+ you sent me says "final version"! Any word on when this masterpiece will be released in larger quanities than your test samples? :D How's the feedback on the Bug Squash, so far I like it a lot!

Sometime soon...for the EX-P ...we have to finish up our current inventory and distributor inventory too...
Bug Squash will have on going testing , we have no bugs here so i would definitely have to do my own testing before I can even think of releasing it.:)

I've bought and used so much APC that I'm becoming a little bit wasteful with it, but here are some of the dilutions that I use. I also feel that any chemical/soap is less effective in cold weather, so the more "dwell" time you give APC the better your end result will be IMO. And yes this cleaner is soapy, but that's one of the things I like best about it. It's a great emulsafier!!

Car and truck wash soap - 1:40
Interiors (Including leather) - 1:10
Carpets - 1:5
Wheels - 1:2
Engines (heavily greased) - Pure
Undercarriages & wheel wells - 1:2

These dilution ratios will go down in warmer weather, and it will be interesting to see how this stuff performs in the summertime.

We ran a PH test on APC and at 1:40 it was 8.5 coming out of the nozzle. By the time it reached the drain it was neutral. It tested at 14 pure.

Sorry if the above doesn't help you, but I've used about 150 gallons so far and am still playing with APC. It's got my attention!! :bow

Steve are you just trying to take over the world this year! You know with all of these new products we won't be able to stay away......wait, that's your job. Job well done Steve, your brain washing technique appears to be working well! If you are starting a list of testers for EX w/Carnauba, you can put me down in permanent marker! ;)
